Malaga, Spain
We docked in Malaga sometime before we woke up this morning. Kristi ordered room service for breakfast so we got up about 9am and ate; we were up very late last night … probably because of napping. After we ate and got dressed we disembarked to explore Malaga at about 11am.

We headed back about 3pm to rest and have a small lunch and afternoon tea. We headed back into town at 5pm as we are shoving off late tonight: 11pm.

After the show we just strolled around the center of town for a while. We decided to walk back to the ship along the boulevard the runs the length the harbor. Along this route are Christmas market booths selling toys, food, handcrafts, etc. it was fun to window shop as we made our way back.

Once back on board we opted to eat in the pub and each had a nice pint of red ale.

We ended the evening with some cards and tried to get to sleep earlier tonight. No nap!!! 😁
Malaga has two “Castles” or fortresses right in town. We visited both and then spent some time wandering the city center and visited the open air market.

We should have known the city would wake up after sunset. We are so glad we went back downtown. The narrow crisscrossing streets were bustling with shoppers, diners, and families out for a Christmas stroll. We got lucky and caught a light and music show on the main street.
