Activities at Sea
Queen Victoria continued steaming southward about 35 miles off the coast of Portugal, headed for Cadiz, Spain. The water calmed considerably today, providing a gentler journey than yesterday for sure.

I think we already said we’re sitting with other people each night, and so far they’ve been different each night. It’s been fun so far, but tonight was a riot. Our table mates tonight, as the Brits might say, were a cheeky bunch. One gentleman in particular pulled no punches and had us in stitches much of the evening. It was so much fun.

L to R: David, Mary, Jeff (Mr. Cheeky himself), and Richard.
We both stayed in bed fairly late today, getting out to take part in some activities by 11am, but not before Kristi was served breakfast in bed by a very handsome gentleman on board.
Today we played some cribbage, took a rumba lesson, had an introductory fencing lesson, and a water color lesson, and played trivia before dinner. Our later breakfast keep us going until tea time at 4pm.
After tea we headed back to our room. The more southern weather has turned quite enjoyable. We spent some time reading on our balcony until we turned in for a short nap before dinner.

By the time we had finished our dinner shenanigans it was 10:20 and the show in the theater was half over. So we decided to take a quick walk around the promenade deck — the temperature was not too cold — and then we headed to our room, hoping to get to sleep at a decent hour.
