Choppy Seas
The captain’s prediction about the first day of our journey south was spot on. While we both finally had a good full night’s sleep, we awoke to a rocky ride. It persisted all day long - at one rough point it threw Kristi into an older gentleman’s lap in the theater. 😂 Neither one of us is feeling sick, but it does get a little tiring battling the ship’s movement. No, we’re not complaining. We had a great day!

We enjoyed three full meals of course, and scones at 4pm. Did a little line dancing. Took a nap. Watched a movie. Played some cards.
Tonight was the black and white gala; Kristi again looked fabulous. Of course all men look better in a tux.
We’ve opted to sit at larger tables for dinner instead of just the two of us. It’s fun to meet new people. It’s worked out well. We’ve met some interesting folks. Today was truly a lounging vacation day.
Entertainment and activity options are really good so far. At 11am we went to a talk in the theater by a man who has summited some of the highest mountains in the world: Everest, K2, etc. Fascinating.
Tonight’s show was great. It was a singer who has played the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera among other roles over forty years. It was truly a top notch performance.
